The Sustainable Partnership between Peaks and Safaris and Back To Basics.

On August 17th, 2023, we had the incredible opportunity to engage with the talented women of the Back to Basics foundation. They specialize in crafting bamboo products, hand-knitted items like scarves, hats, and hand warmers, and more.

These women, spanning different age groups, have overcome numerous challenges, including domestic abuse and financial obstacles. Through their organization, they support one another and prioritize their happiness and well-being while participating in income-generating activities. We are thrilled to partner with Back to Basics, incorporating their handmade products into our tours. This collaboration not only benefits the local community but also enhances cultural tours for our clients.

By promoting zero waste through their products, reusing and recycling materials, and utilizing bamboo, Back to Basics contributes to a sustainable environment.
