Today’s drive takes us past the Mtera Dam, the largest hydropower dam in Tanzania. Note that photography of the dam is strictly prohibited.

An early morning drive leads us across the Kasumulu border into Malawi, the "Lake of Stars," famous for its diving and fishing.

We head through the panoramic Chitimba hills and escarpment, arriving at the beautiful Kande Beach in the late afternoon.

A dedicated day to relax on the white sands. Enjoy swimming, boat rides, or take a cultural tour of the local village.

We depart early from the shores of Lake Malawi and cross into Zambia, arriving at our campsite by 6:00 PM.

A 7:00 AM departure takes us into the heart of Zambia’s capital and largest city.
